What I believe

Organizations are fundamentally people-powered.
Where and how we work will change. Market demands and technology will evolve. But the need for people to drive the work will remain constant. Organizations that prioritize their people are best-positioned for lasting business, cultural, and brand success.

Employees are a company’s most valuable asset.
They bring the mission, vision, and values to life and are an endless source of ideas and innovation. If employees feel valued and respected, they will perform and thrive (as will your business).

Community is powerful and necessary.
Technology has changed how we connect, but not our basic human desire for connection. More than ever, organizations must be intentional about providing employees with opportunities for community to reduce isolation, prevent burnout, and facilitate relationship-building that drives fulfillment and productivity.

Authenticity is paramount.
This applies to individuals and organizations, and especially to leaders. Know who you are. Own who you are. Be who you are. It’s what you’re best at.

Learning yields growth.
Mistakes are learning opportunities, and learning leads to growth. Organizations that foster a culture of accountable risk-taking provide a space for employees—and innovation—to flourish.

Scrappy is crappy with an S in front.
Let’s put that word on the shelf. Small teams have a big impact when they are strategic and intentional, and when expectations and goals are attainable.
