Not all who wander are lost.
My personal and professional journey — my intentional nomadic "wandering" — led to a successful career specializing in:
internal communications
employee engagement
change management
employer branding
leadership communications
mindful mentoring
I’ve lived in many great places, met countless wonderful people, and worked for a variety of interesting companies. Through it all, I found a consistent truth: organizations are people-powered, and how a company treats its employees has a direct impact on business, brand, and culture. That’s why I created Nomadak Freelance & Consulting (NFC).

Employees are a company’s most important asset - they are your brand ambassadors, your client interface, and, in many circumstances, your customer. That’s why work to inform, inspire, and connect them is fundamental to an organization’s business success and cultural strength. I’ve seen this firsthand in different industries and business models, in start-ups and established enterprises, and in communities of 100 to 24,000 employees.
I also know how challenging this work can be, especially when navigating a merger, leadership change, strategy shift, RTO transition, new system or process implementation, or other significant change. (NFC services)
NFC exists to help organizations enhance employee engagement, improve talent retention, and cultivate community in normal - and “new normal” - times.

I’m a New Jersey native currently living in Nashville. I’ve also called WA, OR, MI, and PA home, and spent a magical six months living in London.
I’m a mother of Voids and other furry rescues.
I value authenticity, wisdom, humor, integrity, growth through learning, contribution, and community.
I love hockey (#GoDevils), hiking, road trips, Peloton classes, collecting stories, Stephen King (hello fellow CRs), and podcasts (what Kevin Smith smartly called “modern congregation”).
I can throw down a mean cross stitch and have been banned by most of my friends and family from any form of Scrabble. They say I’m too competitive. I say I’m just word-passionate.
